K.T.S Grading Buckets
K.T.S Grading Buckets are manufactured to resist extremely tough conditions, such as frozen ground and rocks. The two largest models have welded Big BM-brackets (pictured above and below). All the other grading buckets have - like our other front-loader implements - bolted attachments.

 

Specifications

 

  
  • All bucket models have a smooth underside, and the entire bottom plate is made of Domex® for maximum durability and wear resistance.
     
  • The grading bucket is specially designed for earth-moving jobs. The straight rear end of the bucket can be used for planning, when the machine is reversing.
     
  • K.T.S Grading Bucket makes the work easier and faster as the driver sees the edge steel from his seat, thanks to the long bottom of the bucket.
 

 

The smaller grading buckets (pictured above) - between 1.5 and 2.4 m in width - all have K.T.S bolted universal attachments, the same attachments as we use for e.g. our bale grabbers. For maximum durability all our grading buckets have the following characteristics:

1.  edge steel with 500 Brinell hardness (see below for specifications),

2.  made of high-tensile steel Domex® and Hardox® to withstand heavy use.

K.T.S Universal Buckets
K.T.S Universal Buckets for professionals have very large volume. The attachment angle of the buckets is optimized so that when the bucket is tilted up, the wear plate and the rear edge are at the same level, this in order to minimize waste when loading e.g. 'running' materials such as cereals. Flexibility is great because all of these buckets have K.T.S bolted universal brackets.

  • The reinforcement in the bottom of the bucket makes the bucket stronger, thus making it able to withstand great strain from large and powerful machines.
     
  • K.T.S Universal Buckets have no internal reinforcement where soil and snow stick. Instead, the buckets have tie-bar reinforceemnt on the underside, edge and corner reinforcement and prism design of the upper parts of the gables.
     
  • All K.T.S Universal Buckets have our bolted universal brackets. The picture below shows bolted Trima/SMS brackets on a universal bucket.
 

 

Two channel sections (U-sections) along the entire working width of the bucket back make up the attachment base for our bolted brackets. These U-sections also strengthen the entire bucket design.

The edge steel has a 400 Brinell hardness (see below for specifications).

The buckets are designed to quickly reach a high degree of filling.

K.T.S Light-Material Buckets
K.T.S Light-Material Buckets come in three different sizes, from 1.5 to 2.3 m working width. All sizes are available with welded attachments for Trima/SMS or Euro.

 

Specifications

 

  
  • K.T.S Light-Material Buckets have internal reinforcement gussets (not the 1.5 metre model, picture below) stabilizing the bucket.
     
  • The all-welded edge steel is, despite the fact that the bucket is a plain light-material bucket, as much as 15 mm thick.
     
  • The profile-pressed gables make the bucket stronger.
 

 

All light-material buckets - regardless of brand - are designed for materials with low weight, such as snow, sawdust and wood chips. Those buckets are not intended for e.g. gravel.
